The Building a Dynamic Workforce website is based on the premise that business, labor and government,
when acting together can dramatically address the skill development needs of Oregon's workforce.
This website is a result of a dynamic collaboration between Oregon's business, labor,
education and workforce leaders, the Oregon Departments of Community Colleges and Workforce Development,
and Economic and Community Development and many others.
This website is a forum for sharing ideas and information about what's going on around the state.
It is also a repository of information where employers and agencies can learn from one another and share resources.
The goal is to connect business, industry, labor unions and training/education providers to resources that:
- Enable workers to find stable employemnt and earn higher wages
- Enhance a company's ability to compete in a global marketplace
- Provide innovative resource strategies for businesses of all sizes
- Cultivate partnerships
- Develop an incumbant workforce network
- Help businesses achieve higher levels of productivity and quality
Workforceparters.org is maintained by the Oregon Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development
and a Steering Committee of business, labor, government, education and training providers.
What is Workforce Development?
